π Tina's Top Tips π Well-being is about total body, mind, and spirit wellness. I will be sharing some tips and tricks you can implement into your daily life to help provide the balance you are seeking. My top wellbeing tip (5 tips actually) for this week is to get up and get moving. β¨ Have a 1-minute dance party - gather the kids; gather some friends or just be by yourself. Throw on your favorite jam and get up and dance. This will get the blood pumping and is a great way to start the day! β¨ Run in place for 30 seconds... Like your dance party, running in place will get those knees and hips moving keeping you energized. β¨ Planks are 'core' to any routine (pun intended). Sitting all day weakens our core leading to back, neck, and shoulder strain. β¨ More help for those achy joints. When you find yourself reading a book - any book - do your joints and muscles a favor and squat for a bit. β¨ Sitting at a desk or couch surfing all day lends itself to more aches and pains... Regularly, hourly if you can, stand up and sit down 10 times. Stretch out your arms and shrug your shoulders. Give these exercises a go for the week and let me know how you feel.
