My Journey: Life's path isn't always straightforward. Like many, I was taught to follow a traditional route: education, career, and a steady job. Yet, my journey was anything but typical. From an interesting childhood to a fulfilling military career to earning degrees in business and systems engineering management, I found my niche in managing major programs and leading teams. Now, as I transition from the corporate world, I seek to share my time and wisdom with my community.

Life often surprises us by presenting opportunities when we least expect them. Take retirement, for example; it may arrive sooner than anticipated, and rather than viewing it as a time of rest, I see it as a chance to embrace a new chapter. This phase shouldn't be about idly sitting in a rocking chair but rather engaging in the activities that bring us joy. It's a wonderful time to deepen our connections with family and friends, to travel to fascinating destinations, and to immerse ourselves in hobbies and volunteer work. 'Retirement' can be an exciting journey filled with adventures and meaningful experiences, allowing us to explore the passions that bring fulfilment to our lives. We should seize these moments and create a vibrant and purposeful life beyond our working years.
